Another weekend gone...

It's Sunday night and I'm wondering where did the weekend go? I got very little done around the house... and with Mike and Liam both sick... It just feels like there's a lot to do with very little time to do it in.
Oh well, can't complain too much... I still have it a lot easier then others...
I spoke with Rach yesterday; it's so hard knowing that she could use mt help right now but she keeps telling me to wait... to save my time off for May 'cause she'll really need my help then... I just hate having to be so far away. I just wish that we could afford me to take off from work to help my sis out. It's so hard to have to sit back and not be there for my family. I guess what makes it even harder is not being able to even be able to go home for Grandpa's funeral. When I was talking to Jan on the phone yesterday, I just waited to jump on the next plane home to give her a hug.
It's just so much happening all at once. But God has a plan and He wants this all to happen for some reason... hopefully we'll be able to see why soon...
Well it's late and I need to be up early... Good night!

Hi Everyone,

Ya I know that it's been awhile since our last update. Things here have been busy. Mike, Liam, Snoopy and I just got back from Michigan. As soon as we heard that Kevin had a tumor, we picked up some things and headed to Michigan. It was good to see the family but we wish it was under better circumstances. It was hard to see Kevin in his hospital bed but he still being his normal self – glad to see everyone. He is so strong… It was very hard to leave to come home but Mike isn’t covered under FMLA… I am but he’s not… it’s so dumb. Just because Mike isn’t related by blood, he couldn’t take emergency leave… Oh well… We’ll be back in two weeks…
Liam also had fun seeing his cousins. Jake and Liam were too funny together. They just kept looking at each other – not knowing what to make of each other. There were a couple of times that Jake would take Liam’s hand and try to put it in his mouth. Oh and Janine, I don’t know how you do it. Mike and I were beside ourselves trying to take care of Jake and Liam at the same time. I don’t know how you do it!!!

Everything else here has been going well. I started back to work the beginning of January. I’m still with Harris but just working on a different contract D.C. My co-workers and Supervisor are cool but it’s taking me awhile to understand everything on this network.
Mike is still working at Geico and we are both working on getting back into shape.
Liam is just as happy as he can be (as long as he’s not in his car seat). He still does not like tummy time but he is starting to make a lot more noises including laughing. Liam is such a wonderful child; we are truly blessed to have him.
God definitely knew what he was doing when he made sure that Mike and I met and when he sent Liam to us and we are so thankful he did.

Please continue to keep Kevin in your Prayers.
We will try to be better at updating our blog…

Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve!! Tomorrow it will be Liam's first Christmas and what a Christmas it will be. Gifts are already pouring out from under the tree and Santa hasn't even came yet :-) and Grandma Werner even got Liam a new bid to wear tomorrow... it says ' Who needs Santa when I have Grandma'

Can you tell that Grandma and Grandpa Werner are so proud to be Grandparents this Christmas? ;-) Everyone came over to their house this even for a Christmas Eve dinner and everyone was oooing and ahhing over him.

Speaking of which below is a picture of Liam with Santa. By looking at the picture, you'd never be able to tell that he was screaming and crying.

Well, better get to bed, Santa should be here soon!

Getting ready for Day Care...

Tuesday will be Liam's first day at Day Care. Luckly it will only have to be part. My work is still working on transferring me to a new position, closer to home. I still don't know when I'll be going back to work but Day Care start next week. At least he'll have friends there - one of Mike's co-worker's sons go there and the youngest is just a month older then Liam.
Other then that, we are just getting ready for his first Christmas :-)
